023 GIVES THE DIY VIDEO A FRESH MAKEOVER

When HP approached us to produce a series of videos demonstrating how to create different HP Latex printed applications, we saw an opportunity to elevate the traditional DIY video into something altogether more engaging.

The first step of our creative process was to develop an attractive, memorable identity for the video series, and an easily reproducible format that was both informative and entertaining.

The concept we developed was The Applications Studio by HP Latex. Set in a workshop environment, the series would be hosted by HP engineer, Roman Barba, who would introduce each video with a light-hearted reflection before making the printed application step by step. Each video would then end with a humorous scene and trademark sign-off from Roman.

After shooting, our post-production team developed the distinct personality of The Applications Studio through hand-drawn illustrations, graphics, sound effects, images over green screen, and animated opening titles.

The result was a video series that combined instruction with entertainment, turning the traditional DIY video into an engaging experience.
