“Rethink”, a 023 production for HP in San Diego (USA)09/10/2014
Challenges have that mix of emotion and excitement that can turn out to be addictive. At 023, we have been hooked and working intensely for months to achieve that final rush of adrenaline from delivering the project and exceeding expectations.
This time our adventure led us to HP’s headquarters on the East Coast of the USA, in San Diego. Over a period of five days, the press, partners and Hewlett-Packard customers from around the world gathered there to learn about the multinational’s innovations and reveal a very well guarded secret, which will represent a turning point in the large format printing industry.
At 023, we developed “Rethink” – a creative concept which shaped the entire experience.
There was precious little time and much work to do. Our creative proposal consisted of over 70 video tracks and we had just two months to produce them. So, slowly but surely, our wonderful team of creatives, art directors, motion graphics artists, 3D artists and a range of technical crews tackled the task of designing and producing the content and the staging in order to take the audience on a journey towards a new paradigm – a trip which makes them “rethink” everything around them, and at the end of which they discover the secret that will change everything.
Some months after the presentation at San Diego HP wants to repeat the event at the headquarters in Barcelona so that all those who could not be there the first time do not miss the experience of “re-thinking”. About 200 employees have enjoyed a stunning scenic and audiovisual performance which gathers the outcome of their efforts to develop this methodology.
Once again, we worked side by side with the HP marketing team to generate a genuine audiovisual communication experience with which to transmit the messages of the brand and leave an indelible mark.
