GO VIRAL WITH A VIDEO THAT CELEBRATES MOTHER’S DAY
Think. When Volkswagen and DDB came to us to shoot a viral video for Mother’s Day in Spain, we knew that we had to capture something unusual: the adrenaline of being behind the wheel mixed with the tenderness and humour (not to mention telling-off) that defines a mother-son relationship.
Create. We developed a visual treatment and shooting plan that would combine adrenaline-fuelled and aerial shots of the race with intimate footage of the mother and son teams shot with dashboard cameras.
Produce. We shot the video on location at the Monteblanco racing circuit, and it was published on Mother’s Day 2018. Within 24 hours, it had been shared 17,000 times and seen by over 3.9 million people.
